Basic rules – what you need to know:
- Please fill in all information truthfully and accurately. As this is an identification card, you must prove your identity by presenting an identity document - read more about the procedure here. https://www.isic.co.in/terms-of-use
- If the Buyer is already a ALIVEID India customer, the Buyer may be identified by the ALIVEID India system via email and/or the myValU Profile. The system will then prefill the personal data found. If this is the case, you must check all data and modify them, where necessary.
- The main purpose (essence) of an ID is to identify an individual in accordance with the rules set for such ID – you cannot apply for an ID that does not match your status – more information about individual IDs is available here. https://www.isic.co.in/terms-of-use
- IDs are digital documents – it is possible to purchase a Plastic Card; however, the essence of the product is digital content – more information about digital content is available here. https://www.isic.co.in/terms-of-use
- To use your ID, you must download the myValU App and create your myValU Profile (unless you already have one).
- Please protect your ID, your access credentials and the device on which the myValU App is installed carefully and report any unauthorized use thereof.
- Report any changes to your personal data or the status, under which your ID was issued, to us. Changes to personal data do not, by default, require an ID change or an issue of a Plastic Card. In case the details on your ID change, you must purchase a new ID.
- Do not misuse your ID, myValU App or myValU Profile and do not violate the law or any third-party rights. In case of violation of legal documents, we have the right to claim damages.
- You can cancel your ID, myValU App or myValU Profile at any time, but this will affect the availability of individual features and services. However, you are not entitled to a refund of the ID price once the ID has been issued. - Your ID, myValU App or myValU Profile may not be available all the time - we have the right to perform periodic maintenance. Unexpected outages may occur, affecting availability of individual features. We may also make changes to individual features, including the removal thereof. We are under no obligation to provide regular updates.
- We will only process your personal data to the extent and for as long as necessary to fulfill the contract or in the manner foreseen by your voluntary consent. The granting of consent is in no way a precondition for the provision of our services (it is used for marketing purposes, for example). If the legal basis is the performance of the contract, you do not have to provide your personal data. However, it is not possible to conclude the contract or perform and provide the services without such data.
- By purchasing your ID, you agree to the retention of your photograph on our systems for up to 5 years in order to ensure continuity of service provision without the need to prove your identity repeatedly.
