Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Business Development – proactively reach out to colleges, universities, schools, coaching centers, and commercial organizations to generate new partnerships and business opportunities for ISIC.
- Sales Pipeline Management – build and manage a pipeline of prospects through cold calls, emails, and presentations, ensuring consistent lead generation and conversion.
- Target Achievement – meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, tracking progress and adapting strategies to ensure sustained growth in India.
- Market Research & Insights – analyze education sector trends, monitor competitors, and identify new opportunities to strengthen ISIC’s market position.
- Client Relationship Management – develop and maintain long-term relationships with institutions and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction, renewals, and expansion of services.
- Presentations & Proposals – deliver compelling product demonstrations and create tailored proposals that address the needs of decision-makers at educational institutions.
- Reporting & Documentation – maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities; prepare regular sales reports with achievements, challenges, and future opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – work closely with marketing and operations teams to align sales initiatives with organizational goals and provide market feedback for product and service improvement.
- Team Leadership – lead, coach, and motivate the sales team by setting clear KPIs, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative high-performance culture.
- Travel & On-Ground Execution – travel extensively across India to meet clients, attend events, and support local sales initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of B2B sales experience in the education sector (student services, educational tools, or related industries preferred).
- Proven track record in lead generation, relationship building, and closing sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with institutional decision-makers.
- Prior experience in leading or mentoring a sales team is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of sales funnels and education-sector sales strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and inspire team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills with focus on client satisfaction and smooth sales processes.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development.
