Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Curating Local Benefits & Partnerships – identify and onboard local vendors (cafes, bookstores, gyms, transport providers, etc.) near institutions to offer exclusive discounts for ISIC cardholders. Build lasting partnerships that add daily value and keep offers fresh and relevant.
- Institution-Specific Value Creation – collaborate with sales teams to understand each institution’s needs and tailor benefits for their student community, ensuring alignment with ISIC’s brand standards.
- Vendor Relationship Management – maintain strong vendor relations, ensuring smooth execution and negotiating sustainable, mutually beneficial terms.
- Market Research & Mapping – research local markets to identify new benefit categories and partnership opportunities. Map merchant ecosystems for structured onboarding.
- On-Ground Execution & Travel – travel across India to meet vendors, explore markets, and finalize partnerships, representing ISIC and ensuring smooth onboarding.
- Cross-Team Collaboration – align with sales on institutional rollouts and coordinate with marketing to promote benefits effectively to students.
- Monitoring & Reporting – maintain an updated benefits database and provide daily and weekly reports on vendor activity, new onboardings, usage feedback, and recommendations. Track adoption trends and flag operational issues promptly.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or vendor management (experience in education, youth brands, or retail partnerships preferred).
- Experience in traveling across regions for on-ground business development.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to onboard vendors.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable with extensive travel across India.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite for reporting and data management.
